NYC 2024
This project explored capturing New York City in an eerie, dreamlike state by experimenting with unconventional photographic techniques, including using various shutter speeds and deliberately avoiding the viewfinder. By pressing the shutter without looking through the camera, the project embraced the unpredictable and accidental nature of the resulting imagery. This approach transformed familiar urban scenes into abstract, surreal visuals, creating a series of photographs that evoke a sense of mystery and ethereal beauty, and offering a fresh, introspective perspective on the city's enigmatic character.
